The Milestone Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that helps people suffering as a result of catastrophic accidents and injuries. Founded in 2016 by John and Amy Bair, and previously known as the Bairs Foundation, we are the nation’s only nonprofit consumer litigation funding provider.
Our work is rooted in the promise of the Seventh Amendment — to help level the playing field for plaintiffs. We provide financial support at simple interest rates — never compounding — and always non-recourse, so families can pursue justice without sacrificing their future.
Since our founding, we have provided more than $6 million in nonprofit funding to over 900 plaintiffs, in partnership with more than 320 law firms nationwide. From personal injury and medical malpractice to product liability and sex abuse, we stand beside plaintiffs and their attorneys, ensuring financial hardship does not force unfair settlements.
